Taylor joined our team as Assistant Director in April 2025. She previously served as Outreach Services Librarian in Paso Robles, California, developing the City Library's first outreach program and bookmobile.  Before this, she enjoyed living and working in Colorado's Gunnison Valley for 10 years - starting her library career with Gunnison County Libraries after graduating from Western Colorado University and then earning her Masters of Library Science from Emporia State University. At the Ruby Sisson Library, Taylor is excited to explore ways to grow the library’s presence with marketing and programming, and you can find her at the library’s public service desk; hosting events and tech times; or enjoying the sunshine in the library’s courtyard.
