Reading rewards, weekly activities, special events

 

Reading rewards:

Pick up Summer Reading Program Bingo Sheets every week at the library and complete activities to earn a reward and chance to win a grand prize. The more you read, the more chances you have to win! All ages and reading levels can participate - bingo sheets are customized for infants-preschool, ages 5-11, teen, & adult.

Events & Activities:

Join us for events and activities as we “Color Our World” in different ways like drawing, painting, and fiber arts. Programs are free and open to all ages and abilities.

 

Kickoff Party - Friday, May 30 from 1-2:30 pm

Join us for an all ages celebration featuring a presentation by the Sidewalk Astronomers group; art stations for colorful planets, moons, stars,  etc.; snacks, and reading rewards program sign-ups. 

The Sidewalk Astronomers presentation will explain the colors of objects in space that you can see with the naked eye, like stars and planets, and also how the photographs taken by the James Webb Space Telescope are colorized. Art Centers and snacks - come make colorful planets, moons, stars, etc.
