Saira joined our team as Youth Services Librarian in April 2026. She's worked in public libraries for the past five years and earned her Masters of Library and Information Science from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2024.

Saira relocated to Pagosa Springs last year with her husband, and their dog & cat. After working locally for two early childhood education centers, we are excited to add her to our team at the Ruby.

You can find Saira at the circulation desk, among the children's collection, and hosting youth programs for all ages. We're adding new events for children 0-2, 3-5, elementary, middle, & high schoolers; and gearing up for an awesome summer!
