The Ruby M. Sisson Memorial Library is a great resource for the entire community, with something for everyone of every age. Ever wonder how you can support the library? There are several ways:
Donations of books and materials
Donations of gently used books, current magazines, other periodicals and audiovisual materials like DVDs are always welcome to supplement those purchased with the library's budget.
Monetary donations
The Ruby Sisson Library accepts gifts of cash to fund projects and improvements to the library, or to purchase books and other materials to add to our collection. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Memorials and special gifts
Memorials and honorariums are excellent ways to remember someone special while at the same time supporting the library. These donations may be in memory of a deceased loved one, a unique Christmas or other holiday gift, or they may celebrate a special event such as the birth of a child, a birthday or an anniversary.
Bequests
Bequests have the advantage of creating meaningful future gifts without
lessening the assets available to you during your lifetime. Bequests
can be made for the benefit of the library program of your choice, and
may consist of the entirety or a portion of your estate.
Trusts and charitable gift annuities
Charitable remainder trusts and charitable gift annuities may provide you
(or others) income during your lifetime, a charitable income tax deduction,
and provide substantial future support for the Ruby M. Sisson Memorial
Library.
Bequests, charitable remainder trusts and charitable gift annuities are legal commitments. We suggest you seek the counsel of your legal and financial advisors. These advisors know your personal situation best.
