Activities at the library cover a wide range of fun classes and events for kids and teens, and every one is free. We hope you will review the list below and take advantage of these offerings. Some are popular favorites and others are entirely new.
- Summer Reading Program starts Saturday, May 24. Themes are "Catch the reading bug" for pre-kindergarten to 6th grade and "Metamorphosis" for junior high and high school.
- Bilingual Homework Power Hour Mondays through Thursdays from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. for students of all ages. Computer access and bilingual help with homework will be available.
- Beginner bilingual adult computer class Tuesdays from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Clases de computacion para adultos los Martes a las 9:30 de la manana.
- Story Club for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten children Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. Every week has a different theme, such as sock monkeys, cloud pictures and ducks.
- Knights of Sisson Chess Club Tuesdays 6-9 p.m. for all ages.
- Youth Chess Club "Friday Chessnuts" 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. Fridays.
- Friday Fun for students of all grades from 1:45 to 3:30 p.m. will focus each week on different activities including board games, puzzles, reading and storytelling.
